How did it all begin? |
Starting out was a NEED for me to work for myself as I was totally over working for someone else and not being able to progress in my job any higher. Thats when I discovered people making things from vintage chenille bedspreads and developed my own range. |
What do you like most about being a stallholder? |
Of course it’s the customer contact and the feedback on products I make. |
What do you like least about being a stallholder? |
Packing the car, setting up, packing the car, unpacking the car ! |
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? |
Most probably travelling further a field with my stall, perhaps incorporating caravan trips with marketing along the way. |
Any funny stories to share about your time as a stallholder? |
Every market has funny stories, sad stories, learning situations ! Its life ! |
What one piece of advice would you give to a new stallholder? |
Dont give up if you believe in your product and yourself, why should you if its what you love. Just find the right market for you. |
